DECEMBER CLUBDAY
Clubday is this coming Sunday 19 December and it is our Christmas funday. A relaxing day at the track and a chance for you to give your mechanics, wifes, helpers, etc a drive in your kart and see what its all about. The day begins with a couple of heats for each class and then onto the fun races, watch out for Le Mans type starts, staggered starts, changes in track direction, really just what ever we decide on the day. Kids this is your chance to bring your scooters, bikes skateboards etc and have some races out on the track. Watch out also for the lollie scrambles etc. The day will finish with a BBQ dinner on the deck Cost for driver entry is $20.00 and this will include your meal and extra meal tickets can be purchased for $5.00 each. Duty class is everyone so please all help with setting up and tidying at the end of the day.
WORKING BEE
Yes we have one last working bee scheduled for this coming Saturday 18 December. We need to get the play ground erected and some weed eating done around the track. Start time will be 8.00am and looking to finish at around 4.00pm. We need lots of you there to help as there are lots of small jobs that need finishing. Please bring weedeaters and tools along. We need a big turnout for this working be so expect a call shortly from one of the committee to check that you will be there. The track will be closed for practice this Saurday.
MANFIELD SUPERKART MEETING
This National event is taking place on Sunday 9 January 2011. We are hosting club and the event is definley going ahead with the fields getting bigger each day. To run this event we need 12 helpers for the day to man the flag points around the track. This is a unique chance to get out and watch some of the fastest vehicles on 4 wheels. We need you at the Manfield track from 9.00am till about 4.00pm on 9 January 2011. PLEASE let me know asap if you could help with flagging. As usual we will of course be providing the helpers with lunch.
FINALLY
Reminder to get your entries in for the CIK Trophy that we are hosting in January. If you are not racing then we need at least 25 helpers for each of the three days so put the dates 28, 29, 30 January in your diaries now.
