IMPROVEMENTS AT THE TRACK
The second large concrete pour that was scheduled for today went ahead. This means the break down lane and kartport floors etc are now all done. We had a working bee this weekend just gone to try and get ontop of the jobs that need doing and so we can get the track back open for normal practice. HOWEVER apart from the usual works team and some committee members NO ONE ELSE turned up on either day. We understand that you do have other things on in the weekends, but we need to get on top of the improvements we are making and you as our members will benifit from these improvements, please if you have some spare time this weekend on either day come and give us a hand to get everything finished.
SUPPLY OF MATERIALS
To keep the works going and within our budget we need some help with the supply of materials. We are currently looking for Trim Deck Roof Iron and H3 Ply 3D Sheets 12mm in thickness. If you cant help at a working bee then maybe a donation of some materials could be an alternative.
NOVEMBER CLUBDAY
As we are hosting our round of Goldstar over the weekend of 20 and 21 November we are going to hold our November clubday on Saturday 13 November. We will be looking at having a twilight meeting with clubday starting at around 12 noon and looking to finish at around 7.00pm. This will run as a normal clubday, and we will have a BBQ dinner afterwards. Will keep you informed of more details soon, but put the date change in your diaries now.
TRACK PRACTICE
The track is now open again for practice in the normal direction ( or clockwise ). There has been a temporary gate fitted at the end of the dummy grid but please be careful with it. DO NOT take cars onto the new dummy grid. NO fueling of karts on the dummy grid. NO scuffing or warming tyres on the dummy grid. We need to give the concrete time to settle and fully harden. Please be careful and remember the works team are at the track most days and if they tell you that you cant go out onto the track please respect this request, it will be for yours and there safety.
KARTPORT AND TRAILER LEASES
The annual leases for trailer parks and kartports are now due for renewal. For those of you who are current lease holders you will recieve your new lease and invoice shortly. If you are not going to renew please let me know. There are currently a couple of kartports available so if you want one of these let me know and I will get the details to you.
